PM Narendra Modi announces the launch a website for youth called ‘Mera YuvaMY Bharat’

According to an announcement by the Prime Minister of India, the new ‘MY Bharat’(Mera Yuva) platform will be launched on October 31, the same day as the birth anniversary of our country’s first Prime Minister, Sardar Vallabbhai Patel. The new platform, where ‘MY’ stands for ‘Mera Yava,’ aims to provide the youth with an important role to play in various government initiatives. This initiative is a unique endeavour to bring the energy of India’s youth together to build a more developed India.

On October 31, the nation will witness the culmination of the mega-event that has been taking place across the country for the past two-and-a-half years, the Azadi Ka amrit Mahotsav. This day also marks the anniversary of the death of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Fostering Youth Leadership Development-

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India’s transformation into a global manufacturing hub, attracting prominent brands to produce their goods within the nation. He highlighted the symbiotic relationship between adopting locally manufactured products and the ‘Make in India’ initiative, promoting the ‘vocal for local’ ethos.

Mr. Modi encouraged the use of the UPI digital payment system during transactions and stressed the significance of purchasing indigenous products to enhance the festive spirit of Diwali, especially for the skilled artisans.

Addressing various aspects, the Prime Minister celebrated the remarkable surge in sales of khadi products on Gandhi Jayanti, with a single store at Connaught Place in the national capital registering sales of Rs 1.25 crores in a day. Previously, khadi product sales barely reached Rs 30,000 crores, but this figure has now escalated to nearly Rs 1.25-lakh crores.

He also mentioned the “Amrit Kalash Yatras,” organized to collect soil from all corners of the country, which are currently en route to Delhi. This collected soil will be used in constructing Amrit Vatika, leaving a lasting legacy of the Amrit Mahotsav in the heart of the nation. The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an ongoing national event for the past two and a half years, is set to conclude on October 31, as announced by Mr. Modi.

Additionally, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the esteemed tribal leader, Birsa Munda, noting that his birth anniversary on November 15 is commemorated as “Janjaatiya Gaurav Diwas.”
