Final of IND-WI ODI Series: West Indies faced 351

In the third and Final of IND-WI ODI Series , West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first. Which the Indian team defeated by 200 runs. And with this last match of the ODI series, the Indian team won the ODI series by defeating the West Indies by 2-1. India has won this series for the 14th consecutive time from the West Indies.

In the third and Final of IND-WI ODI Series , West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first. Which the Indian team defeated by 200 runs. And with this last match of the ODI series, the Indian team won the ODI series by defeating the West Indies by 2-1. India has won this series for the 14th consecutive time from the West Indies.

Caribbean team Couldn’t face 351 runs

India has achieved the biggest victory against West Indies on the land of West Indies in Final of IND-WI ODI Series. The Indian team scored 351 runs for 5 wickets in 50 overs. Chasing which the West Indies team got all out for just 151 runs in 35.3 overs, and lost the ODI series. If the West Indies team won this third match after winning the second match, then India could have broken the series by defeating the West Indies for the 14th time in a row. Due to the absence of experienced batsmen from the Indian team, West Indies had a good chance of winning the series. But the Caribbean team could not face the Indian team’s 351 runs.

Half-Centuries leads score to 351

Shubman Gill rolled as Man of the Match and Ishan Kishan named as ‘Player of the Series‘. Indian team opener Ishan Kishan started well by scoring his half-century. And contributed 77 runs. This is Ishan Kishan’s third consecutive half-century in the ODI series and 6th in his career. He was stumped by Shai Hope. Shubman Gill got India a good score by scoring 85 runs.

Talk about half-centuries, then Gill (85), Ishan (77), Pandya (70) and Samson (51) scored half-centuries. Whereas Suryakumar Yadav scored 35 runs.

IND regain ODI Series with Gill-Kishan partnership

Even after losing the second match, in the third match, Team India regained its status in the ODI series. The team performed well not only in batting but also in bowling and fielding. In the last match, the non-play of experienced players was said to be the reason for the defeat, which the Indian team proved wrong. And did the opening of the match in a very strong way. In which Gill-Kishan shared a partnership of 143 runs. Because of which the Indian team could achieve big scores like 350.

In Shami’s absence Mukesh took 3 consecutive wickets

Indian team’s fast bowlers Shardul Thakur and Mukesh Kumar performed brilliantly in bowling. Shardul took 4 for 37 while Mukesh took 3 for 30.
Not only the batting but India’s fast bowlers showed their good performance. And kept taking wickets continuously from the Windies. Mukesh Kumar took 3 consecutive wickets. In Shami’s absence, it was a good opportunity to try Mukesh. In which he won the hopes of the people. Also, Jaydev Unadkat along with Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav did not allow West Indies’ score to increase.

West Indies

Chasing a score of 352, West Indies were all out for 151 runs in 35.3 overs. And lost the series. The team lost 8 wickets for just 88 runs, after which the pressure on the team increased and wickets kept falling continuously. Brandon King was dismissed by Mukesh for 0 runs. Kyle Meyers contributed only 4 runs while captain Shai Hope contributed only 5 runs. Alzarri Joseph (26) scored the most runs from the team, who was dismissed by Kishan on the ball of Shardul Thakur.
Romario Shepherd also took two wickets from the West Indies team. Alzarri Joseph and others got 1-1 wicket each.


Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not seen in this match as well. From this it can be inferred that the team is testing new players for the World Cup. Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy in place of Rohit Sharma. And scored 70 runs on 52 balls.
