World Cup is going to start in India from October, it will run for 46 days and during this there will be 48 matches. ODI World Cup 2023 will be seen in different cities of India from October to November. This match has been decided to be held in 10 different cities of India.

Companies responsible for E-tickets
E-tickets for the ICC ODI World Cup can start getting from August 10. BCCI has signed up BookMyShow and Paytm for ticket sales. In which tickets for the final match and Indo-Pak match can be bought from Book My Show. Tickets for the semi final which will be held in Mumbai and the second semi final which will be held in Kolkata can be booked through Paytm.
Opening Match
The opening will be on October 5 against India and Australia. Opening match will be played in Chennai. After this, the match between India and Pakistan will be played on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

According to Indian coach Rahul Dravid, India has to play less than 10 ODIs before the World Cup. That’s why they are short of time. Team combination is taking time due to injuries to the players of the Indian team.
Change in schedule
At the same time, the matter of change in the date of the match between India and Pakistan is also coming to the fore. In fact, there is a possibility of change in the schedule of India-Pakistan match which is going to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 15 October. BCCI Secretary Jai Shah gave a statement in this regard.
Currently, preparations for the ODI World Cup 2023 are going on in full swing with different teams of ICC visiting and inspecting the stadiums hosting the matches.
The team also visited the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad along with ICC Tournament Director Dheeraj Malhotra. The Narendra Modi Stadium is the main venue of the World Cup, here along with the opening and final matches, the India-Pakistan match will also be played.
According to the information given by the BCCI, the matter of forming two sub-committees for the World Cup of the Board of Control for Cricket in India has also come to the fore. A sub-committee will oversee the venue. So the second sub-committee is the Infrastructure and Subsidies Committee. Roger Binny, Secretary Jai Shah, Treasurer Ashish Sehler, Rajeev Shukla and Joint Secretary Devjit Saikia etc. are included in this committee.
