The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) is a highly competitive exam that is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to postgraduate dental courses in India. Eligibility Criteria for NEET MDS

Exam Pattern for NEET MDS
The NEET MDS exam is conducted online and is of 3 hours and 30 minutes duration. It consists of 240 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that are based on the BDS curriculum.
The exam is divided into two parts:
- Part A: Consists of 100 MCQs that are based on General Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, Dental Anatomy, and Histology, General and Dental Pharmacology, and General Pathology and Microbiology.
- Part B: Consists of 140 MCQs that are based on General and Dental Medicine, General and Dental Surgery, Oral Pathology and Oral Microbiology, Oral Medicine and Radiology, and Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Periodontology, and Prosthodontics.
Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and for every wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted.
